Building God's kingdom through godly homes & godly businesses
We believe that the Bible is “God’s Word”, written by human authors inspired by The Holy Spirit. We believe in the inerrancy of the Bible, and that the Bible remains relevant and the manual for every area of human life through all generations. We receive the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament as eternal, authoritative, coherent, complete and all sufficient. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
We believe in the Divine Trinity - one Triune God who exists in three Persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit – eternal in being, identical in nature, equal in power and glory and with the same attributes and perfections. 1 John 5:7
God - we believe that there is only one God, the first person of the Trinity, the Creator of both visible and invisible creatures. Genesis 1:1
Jesus – we believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One. He has existed throughout eternity, one of the persons of the Holy Trinity, the Son, the only begotten Son of the living God. His coming to the world was foretold by prophets, he was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born by the Virgin Mary, without sin. He came to the world to save mankind from sin. He lived a perfect life, surrendered his life to be crucified as the sacrifice for sin. He then resurrected and rose to heaven where he has become our High Priest. Jesus Christ will return to establish the kingdom of God on earth, and rule forever as the King of kings and the Lord of lords. John 1:1-14
The Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit is the third Person in the Trinity. He convicts of sin and brings salvation to mankind; he performs the work of regeneration and sanctification in born again believers. He also gives believers divine gifts to use for the glory of God. John 15:26, 16:8-15
God created man (Adam) in His image, but Adam disobeyed God and sin came into the world. Consequently, all of Adam’s offsprings (all mankind) became sinners by inheriting the nature of fallen Adam. Sin separated mankind from God, bringing him under condemnation and judgment of a just and Holy God. Man in his fallen state cannot approach God or save himself and therefore needs a savior. Jesus Christ came to save us from our sins. He is the only way to the Father. Salvation is available to everyone and can be received by acknowledging one’s sins, repenting of them; and accepting God’s offer of salvation through Jesus Christ. Genesis 3:1-24, Romans 3:23-24, 10:8-10
The word sanctification in the Greek language is “hagiasmos” meaning (1) to be apart from sin (2) consecrated unto God, to be conformed to His holiness, purity, and perfection of character. The scripture teaches that “sanctified” is what the believer is [not a process, but a state, which the believer has already entered into once and for all. Perfection, the total yielding of one’s life to the Holy Spirit, is a spiritual growth process for those who have been sanctified and consecrated to God. Perfection and true holiness are impossible without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. All attempts at achieving perfection without the Holy Spirit generally results in frustration and failure. Acts 20:32, 1 Peter 1:215
Water Baptism – Believing in Christ produces an inward change in our heart while baptism in water is an outward act of obedience that testifies to the change that has occurred in our hearts. Water baptism symbolizes our oneness with Christ in His burial and resurrection; a separation from the old life of sin and defeat and a coming up to a new life of righteousness and victory, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:18-20
Holy Spirit Baptism - The baptism in the Holy Ghost is a supernatural equipping of a Christian with God’s power for effective witness and service. The initial evidence of Holy Spirit’s baptism is speaking in an unknown tongue as the Spirit gives expression. The unknown tongue is a unique prayer language given to the believer which is understood by God but unknown to man. The Holy Spirit’s baptism enables every Christian to build up his/her own spiritual life through a direct and continual communion with God. It is the gateway into a supernatural life in which both the gifts and fruits of the Holy Ghost are manifested. Acts 2:38-39
Sickness is a direct consequence of the fall of man and his continuance in sin. Redemption not only dealt with sin but also its consequences, which includes sickness and diseases. When Christ died on the Cross, he noy only bore our sins, but also paid for our sicknesses. We receive divine healing for our bodies by laying claim to the finished work of Christ on the Cross, through faith in the word of God. Believers receive healing for their bodies and souls, but they also are instructed to minister healing and deliverance to others in the name of Jesus. This can be accomplished by laying on of hands, praying for others, and by anointing the sick with oil in the name of the Lord. Acts 10:38, 1 Peter 2:24, James 5:14-15n which both the gifts and fruits of the Holy Ghost are manifested. Acts 2:38-39
The Lord’s Supper, also known as the Holy Communion, symbolizes a memorial of His suffering, death, and prophecy of His second coming. Jesus Christ commanded the church to do it in His remembrance. It consists of sharing bread and the fruit of the vine, the two elements that represent Jesus’ body that was broken for our sins and his blood that was shed for our redemption. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
